A Stellar Collection Of Stellar Cookware

Recently I  was looking for a new saucepan set and after a search on the internet I came across a Stellar Cookware review. It was very enlightening and gave a good account of their range of saucepan sets. Their range of designs are well suited to modern kitchens. So a quick look on the big G and I soon found the Stellar Cookware website. In fact the Stellar cookware manufacturer is Horwoods. This is a cookware company based in Bristol in the United Kingdom. They have been manufacturing cookware since 1896 and are renowned for their wide range of quality stainless steel saucepan sets . After further research I found out that Horwoods were bought by another European cookware manufacturer Silampos in the year 2000. They own a variety of well known international cookware brands like Zyliss, Cole & Mason and Jamie Oliver.

They have such a good range of saucepans all made from premium 18/10 stainless steel. This material consists of 18% chrome and 10% nickel which gives it a hard wearing stain resistant surface. It even self heals itself if you scratch the surface, which stops corrosion or bacteria from forming. As you would want with all your saucepans, they come with a lifetime stainless steel guarantee and are dishwasher safe. They have a range of eight saucepans sets which can be bought individually or in a set if you are starting out. What is great is, once you have your minimum set you can add to them when ever you see a great offer or can decide which size you need next.

As with all purchases I wanted to compare them in person so searched their website for Stellar Cookware stockists. It took a while in the shop and after a some good advice from the shop assistant I had decided on the Stellar 4000 range. These have a low heat transmission Phenolic handles which conduct heat slowly. To start my range I selected the 4 piece saucepan set which came with a 16cm, 18cm and 20cm sized saucepans and a separate steamer. I have been very satisfied with my purchase and can’t wait to add to them.
